• CII - Certified Resource Efficiency and Environmental Sustainability Auditor

About Course

CII offers 'First of its kind' online certification course on Resource Efficiency and Environmental Sustainability.

Vision

Any participant certified as “Auditor / Manager” will be able to assess the environmental performance of a facility (industry, office building) and identify opportunities which will result in reduced environmental footprint as well as cost benefits to the facility.

The use of word “auditor” is appropriate because the certified environmental sustainability auditor will check the performance of the facility with the desired model. Desired model is a best in class company with best / optimized performance in all environmental touch points.

Environmental touch points

Since the course is focussed on environmental sustainability and climate change, all discussions in the course will be limited to parameters / factors affecting environmental footprint and adding to climate change. Environmental touchpoints will vary based on the type of operation of a facility. A facility can be an industrial facility or a building facility. Therefore, for the course, the environmental touchpoints covered will be common to all sectors and facilities. Participants will have to build upon the concepts covered in the course and identify saving opportunities.
